During my recent transit in Cusco, I stayed at the Grasshopper hostel. Although it wasn't the best experience, there were a couple of pros worth mentioning. the hostel was conveniently located near the airport, making it a convenient choice for a short stay. the database provided accurate information about the nearest airport being just 5 km away, which made planning my travels much easier.

The staff explained that the originally booked room was not ready, offering a discount and promising it would be ready the next day.

The guestrooms at The Grasshopper Hostel are super cozy and comfortable. I loved the free WiFi, which allowed me to stay connected with my friends and family. The bathrooms were great too, with refreshing showers and complimentary toiletries. a perfect place for a relaxing stay!

Personally, I found the hair dryers in the bathrooms a bit weak. But hey, that's just my opinion!

We had a great experience at Grasshopper. The beds were comfortable and the blankets kept us warm during the night. The lockers provided secure storage for our belongings. The staff was super helpful and friendly, offering great tours for a reasonable price. The breakfast was delicious as well. I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

grasshopper hostel in cusco exceeded our expectations. the cheap price included comfortable beds, daily dormitory cleaning, and the convenience of leaving our backpacks during our visit to macchu picchu. friendly staff, relaxed vibes, and coca tea all day were just the icing on the cake. highly recommended.

My recent stay at Grasshopper in Cusco was fantastic. I was there for a week and met some amazing people through the daily activities they organize. The Devil's Balcony hike and Pisco challenge were a highlight. The location, although a bit tricky to find, was worth it as it's away from the main tourist area. Nearby local restaurants offered delicious and affordable meals. The hostel had a great view from the terrace and the staff were super helpful. I also appreciated the free storage room and the good breakfast options.

The location was great, just a short walk away from a bustling market and convenient laundry service. The hot showers had good water pressure, and they provided toilet paper and hand soap. It was also nice to have hot water and tea available in the common area, although they sometimes forgot to refill them.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms was definitely a letdown, as they never felt clean. The breakfast was very basic, consisting only of bread and coffee/tea.

The location of the hostel is perfect, as it is right near the San Pedro market. It is a great advantage to be close to such a vibrant and lively area. the staff at the hostel is very friendly and helpful, always making sure that our needs are met. the breakfast provided is good and satisfying, giving us a good start to our day of exploring.

The Grasshopper Hostel offers a variety of daily activities and workshops, including the Devil's Balcony hike and the Pisco challenge. Great place for meeting people and being out of the main tourist area. Local restaurants nearby offer delicious and affordable meals.

the location was perfect, just a short walk from the main square. the owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to fulfill any requests. the hostel itself is new and clean, with fresh linen on the beds. the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets to keep warm at night. the showers were operational and there was hot water. I appreciated the lockers in the room for extra security. the wifi worked well, and the bathrooms were clean. the hostel had a nice terrace where you could relax, and there was a social atmosphere with people hanging out at the bar and common areas. the breakfast provided was basic but nice, with bread rolls, butter, jam, fried egg. Cons: Everything was great! 😊.

For the price we paid, we got incredible value. The room was comfortable and cozy, with enough blankets to keep us warm. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main square and the bustling San Pedro market. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always there to assist us with anything we needed.
